Log in to NILE at nile.northampton.ac.uk with the username and password provided by the External Examiners team.
Select the module listed in the Courses section of the main navigation menu. Contact the module tutor if a module is not visible.
Select an External Examiner Smart View to access a custom filter of the module Grade Centre.
Find a submission in the Grade Centre.
Select the appropriate submission Attempt.
Select the globe icon beside Users Paper.
The Turnitin Feedback Studio screen will open in a new browser tab.
Select the main Layer icon to expand the combined feedback and similarity report panel.
Select the blue set of icons to view the tutor's inline comments, overall comments, rubric or audio feedback.
Select the red set of icons to view the detailed Turnitin similarity report.
Download the blank External Examiner Moderation form at the end of this guide.
Select the External Examiner link in the course navigation menu.
Select Build Content and choose Item from Create menu.
Browse your computer to locate and upload your completed moderation form.
Select Submit to proceed.
Check you have uploaded the correct document.
Select the Edit option and set the document to be Unavailable to prevent it being accidentally accessed by students.
Repeat this process for additional assessments.
