We participate in the SCONUL Access Scheme. This allows students to borrow items and use the spaces in other academic libraries in their area. The first step is to check with your home institution that they also participate. If they do, then use the SCONUL website to make an online application. This is a quick and easy process but make sure that you have the details of your home institution and student information to hand. You will then be given a band, depending on your type of study. If you are given band A, B or C then you can complete the application form below and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your SCONUL confirmation email.
Each library will set their own rules about SCONUL member usage. At the University of Northampton we allow SCONUL users to borrow 5 items from the collection and allow access to our Learning Hub building 24/7. You will be obliged to follow the library rules and regulations that can be found on the form. You will need to provide photo ID when you collect your card and you must wear your lanyard at all times on campus.
For queries regarding this membership, please contact email@example.com
If you have been assigned Band R you will need to apply for Associate LLS Membership.
