NILE FAQs

The Learning Technology Team provides advice, guidance, support, training and consultation on the use of technology to enhance learning. Our Learning Technologists, Learning Designers, Learning Support Analyst, and E-Learning/Multimedia Resources Developer provide support and assistance on using NILE, technology enabled learning, curriculum design and the development and production of technology enhanced learning materials.

The University's suite of learning tools is called NILE (Northampton Integrated Learning Environment) and it is made up of a core product called Blackboard, along with other tools that support submitting and marking online, the virtual classroom and related functionality such as video recording, discussion tools and blogging.

Students have access to all the learning content related to their modules of study. Once you log in to NILE you will be able to access modules you are enrolled on. If you cannot see your modules listed, please contact the module tutor, course leader or the Student Information Desk.
