Marks and feedback on the academic and professional quality of your work will be provided no later than twenty working days from the due date, and you will be assessed on your ability to successfully address the module learning outcomes specified in your assignment brief. Normally, your module tutors will post an annoucement on NILE letting you know when your marks and feedback are available.
In order to develop and improve your work, you should read carefully the feedback provided by staff and make notes for future submissions. With the feedback for each assignment, you are advised to keep a record about what you did well, and how you could have improved the work. Over time this will build up into a valuable resource, and for your upcoming assignments you can then refer to these notes which will remind you of the things you naturally do well, and those areas to which you need to pay greater attention. Remember, the quality of your work will improve at a much greater rate through a process of active reflection and engagement with the feedback provided by teaching staff.
The following pages of this guide explain how to find and access the marks and feedback for different types of assignment.
