Students with an Academic Inclusion Report (AIR) may require additional time for tests with a time limit. This is usually represented as a percentage of additional time.
To allow extra time for an individual student, navigate to the class register in the course where the test is hosted:

Search for the student, select the ellipsis next to their name and choose 'Accommodations' from the menu:

Tick the checkbox for Time limit accommodation and enter the percentage value required. Save the settings.

The student will now receive extra time on all timed Blackboard tests within this course. Repeat the above process for other modules.
There may be times where genuine errors occur and a particular student requires an additional attempt. An example would be a student accidentally submitting their test without answering any questions.
Navigate to the Gradebook on the module and switch to the Markable Items view. Enter the test by selecting the title.

From the Submissions page, find the student that requires the additional attempt. Use the menu next to their name to select 'Add or edit exceptions'.

Increase the number of attempts from 1 to 2 and press the save button.

The student will now be able to start a new attempt.
