Information for Students

CampusPress

Also known as MyPAD

Every student has access to CampusPress (MyPAD), a customised installation of the platform Wordpress.

To log in from the CampusPress Home Page use the button 'CLICK HERE TO BEGIN YOUR WORDPRESS JOURNEY', then enter your University login details. Follow the on-screen prompts, once you see your student number at the top right of the page you have logged in correctly.

Guides

You will find the links to the user guides on the Campus Press Home Page, these include the site 'How to create a basic wordpress site with CampusPress' which has been created for UON students and covers all aspects of setting up your site including; how to login, set a theme, create a menu, add content, and publish your site. 

There are also links to the official CampusPress User Guides.

You can also find tutorials covering Wordpress on LinkedInLearning.


Plugins & Templates

Students and staff can use the pre-installed plugins and templates which are installed by the tool provider CampusPress, but can not manually add others.


Privacy

The default privacy of all sites is set to private. If you wish to publish your site please ensure that your site content does not violate copyright or accessibility standards or contain offensive, defamatory, any other form of illegal content, or content not in keeping with the values of the University. (Access to sites that are found not to meet these standards will be removed).
