Navigate to mymedia.northampton.ac.uk on a Chrome desktop browser.
Select Log In and enter your UON username and password to access your MyMedia account.
Select My Media to view a library of all your video and audio content.
Use the Search My Media function to find your videos.
Use Filter to narrow your search criteria.
Select Analytics to access detailed insight on who has watched your video.
Use the Edit icon to change the video Name and amend the Description with a rich text editor
The Edit menu also allows you to access the Caption Editor, add file attachments to your video as well as other useful functions.
You can access a library of short video tutorials as well as extensive written guidance on all aspects of Kaltura on the MyMedia Home page.
Navigate to mymedia.northampton.ac.uk on a Chrome desktop browser.
Select Log In and enter your UON username and password to access your MyMedia account.
Select the Edit icon beside the video you wish to edit.
Select Launch Editor to access the Video Editor dashboard.
Use the Video Editor to trim and crop your original video or use Save a Copy to create a duplicate.
The Video Editor also provides a Quiz section which enables you to add engaging questions to your video content.
The Hotspots icon enables you to add clickable hotspots to your video content to add interaction for your students.
Navigate to mymedia.northampton.ac.uk on a Chrome desktop browser.
Select Log In and enter your UON username and password to access your MyMedia account.
Select Add New and then choose Media Upload from the options menu.
Use the Drag and Drop function or select the Choose a file to upload option to select your video.
Select Open on your file navigator to begin the upload process.
Your video will begin to upload.
Amend the Name or Description fields to make your video more identifiable and searchable.
You can Add a Collaborator to allow other users to edit or deploy your video.
You can choose if your video is Private or Unlisted if you wish to share it publicly.
Choose Save to save your changes.
Select Go to Media if you wish to preview or edit your video.
You have successfully uploaded a video file to your MyMedia account.
Log in to and go to My Media. On the right-hand side of the video you want to download, click Edit.
Near the bottom of the page, click on the Downloads tab.
Select all the listed download options and press Save, then select Go to Media.
Beneath the video preview, there is a section marked Download.
Select the download icon in the Actions section to download your video
Your video file will be saved onto your computer to the default downloads folder.
