Finding your way around NILE

When you log in to NILE, the first page that you see is the Institution Page. This page contains lots of helpful information and links to useful sources of support. If there are known problems with NILE, they will be listed on this page.

From the Institution Page, you can access the following pages:

• Your NILE profile (your name) - upload a photo/avatar, and add your preferred pronouns and name pronunciation
• Activity Stream - view the announcements from all your NILE courses, plus updates about new courses which are available, and replies and responses to any discussions that you're following
• Courses - find and access all the NILE courses for your modules and programme
• Calendar - shows any items in your NILE courses which have a date (please note that this does not link to your class timetable)
• Messages - view the messages you have received from your lecturers
• Grades - view the grades and feedback from all your NILE courses
• Assist - access all the different services and sources of help, support, advice and guidance available to University of Northampton students

On devices with smaller screens, select the 'burger' menu in the top left corner to access the main NILE menu.
