Study Support: Academic Librarians

Each Faculty has a subject specialist Academic Librarian who can help you to find and evaluate information for your assignments. The Academic Librarians can help you with using NELSON as well as offering advice on subject specialist databases, strategies for literature searching and referencing guidance.

Appointments and drop-ins

LLS appointments: choosing the right team​You can book a 25 minute tutorial appointment to get help with using library resources and referencing. Appointments can be booked through the Student Login website. Please note, group appointments can be booked for a maximum of two students at a time.

The Academic Librarians also offer a daily drop-in, Monday to Friday for quicker queries where you can wait to speak to one of the team.  Sign in to the online queue to attend a 10 minute drop-in (available during term-time only).
