PebblePad is used by students who undertake placements as part of their studies, primarily in the faculty of health, education and society. We also have some apprenticeships students using PebblePad. Outside of this, due to the way the product is licensed, you will need to get an agreement from your Learning Technologist before deciding to use PebblePad.
Where can I find help?
While PebblePad is a versatile and user-friendly tool, we do advise that if you want to use PebblePad and/or incorporate it into your teaching and programmes of study, then you contact LearnTech for training before using the guidance in the following sections. Building and deploying workbooks requires preparation and advanced skills, so you will need to ensure that you give yourself the necessary time to learn these different areas before PebblePad can go live in your courses. If you have been handed this module/programme from another member of staff and everything is set-up, you are still advised to receive training.
