Anatomy resources

Anatomy TV is an interactive educational resource on human anatomy. It provides interactive 3D models as well as text, slides and video clips. You can explore human anatomy in detail looking at different sections of the body. It also includes human anatomy and physiology which you can use to explore and revise different body systems such as reproduction and the nervous system.

Note: Log in via the UK Shibboleth option, search for Northampton in the institution box and select University of Northampton (IDP): Follow the onscreen instructions to either create a profile or log in without your profile. These databases provide access to journal articles that you can use as evidence to underpin your academic work.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a comprehensive nursing and allied health database with thousands of full-text journals, books, dissertations, and other resources. It covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health, and dozens of allied health disciplines. The database also offers Evidence-Based Care Sheets.

Intermid Intermid contains all content from the British Journal of Midwifery from 1993 onwards. It also includes access to its sister title, African Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health

Maternity and Infant Care This database is a comprehensive resource for research on pregnancy, birth, and the first year of life. It includes over 120,000 references to journal articles, books, and grey literature from over 550 international sources. Coverage is from the mid-1980s. To log in, type **Northampton** in the **Search Box**, then select **University of Northampton (IDP)** .
PsycNET PsycNET is an amalgamation of PsycInfo (which is an abstract database of psychological literature from the 1800s to today) and PsycArticles (which offers access to the full-text of APA journals).
