Library staff are having a well deserved break from 5pm on Friday 20th December 2024 to Thursday 2nd January 2025 at 9am. There are other staff and services available over the Winter Break on campus and more information can be found in the Student Hub (login required). This includes the Security and Residential Life teams, who can help with a wide variety of issues and are always happy to help. LLS will be back, ready and willing to help on the 2nd January.
From 8pm on Friday 20 December 2024 until 8am Thursday 2 January 2025 the Learning Hub will be accessible to staff and students 24/7 using your staff ID card at the 24 hour access entrance (closest to the Student Information Desk). All other University buildings (excluding the Halls of Residence) can only be accessed following submission of an Out of Hours Form. Please note, students will need to email the Security separately. Our Security team will be based across the estate throughout the Christmas period to provide support and any staff attending campus during this time should make Security aware of their presence by calling them on 01604 892269 or using the Check In function on SafeZone.

A qualified librarian will happily help you any time of day, all through the vacation. All our online services, including NELSON and the Skills Hub are still accessible.
The Learning Hub will remain open 24 hours a day, with self-service borrowing and returning throughout this time.
