AI Insights is integrated across all EBSCO platform and is designed to enhance academic research. In some EBSCO databases there is also an option for natural language searching.
Key Features
- AI Insights: This generates between 2 to 5 key points for each full-text article, helping users to assess its relevance quickly.
- Search Capabilities: In EBSCO databases with the natural language feature users can toggle between this and traditional keyword-based searching, allowing for flexible exploration of content.
Limitations
- English only: AI Insight summaries are currently available only in English.
- Full-Text Dependency: Summaries are generated for articles with full-text access; records containing only abstracts are excluded.
- Quality Assurance: A sample of AI-generated summaries is reviewed by subject experts to ensure accuracy and relevance. As not every summary is individually checked, users should still critically evaluate the content.
