Office for National Statistics

The Office for National Statistics is the UK’s largest independent producer of official statistics and its recognised national statistical institute. They are responsible for collecting and publishing statistics related to the economy, population and society at national, regional and local levels. They also conduct the census in England and Wales every 10 years.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change.

Global Health Observatory

The Global Health Observatory data repository is World Health Organization's gateway to health-related statistics for its member states both on a global and national scale. It provides access to indicators on priority health topics including child health, maternal and reproductive health, diseases, immunization, environmental health, among others.

MAGIC

MAGIC provides geographic information about the natural environment from across government. The information covers rural, urban, coastal and marine environments across Great Britain. It is presented in an interactive map and users do not require specialist software and can access maps using a standard web browser.

NASA's Visible Earth offers remarkable collections of satellite images, visualisations and animations relating to atmospheric phenomena, land cover changes, oceanography and other Earth-related topics. Most images published in Visible Earth are freely available for re-publication or re-use, except for where copyright is indicated.
