14th to 20th February 2025
‘Random Acts of Kindness’ Week is an annual event celebrated globally to encourage people to perform spontaneous and kind actions for others. The idea is to foster a culture of goodwill, compassion, and positivity by doing simple acts of kindness, such as helping others, giving compliments, or volunteering. These small gestures can create a ripple effect, inspiring others to pass on the kindness, ultimately making communities more connected and uplifting. It's a week dedicated to spreading joy and enhancing human connections through everyday acts of generosity.
The Library Help Team is spreading kindness by leaving surprise books wrapped up for students to take. We also have a compliments bowl and other kindness activities on our Library Help Desk, along with kindness books. You'll find the Library Help Desk on the 2nd floor of the Learning Hub. Come and have a look 😊
Join us in celebrating ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ Week and be part of the ripple effect of kindness! Share your acts of kindness and experiences with us to inspire others to spread the joy. Together, we can make a difference, one kind act at a time.
You can find out more on the Random Acts Of Kindness website - make kindness the norm.
