Alumni Membership: Home

General application information

Alumni membership is free of charge (and subject to a yearly renewal) if you are a graduate of the University of Northampton. It allows access to the upper floors of the Learning Hub and you may borrow five 4-week loans at a time. 

You must complete an online application form and provide the following documents:

  • 1 digital photo of yourself (head and shoulders)

  • 1 form of photo ID (like a passport, photocard driver’s licence).

Alumni applications also need to provide:

  • 1 picture or scan of your certificate of graduation if you graduated from the University of Northampton

  • 2 documents proving your name and address (like a recent utility bill, bank statement)

Photographs and documents submitted will be deleted upon collection of your access card.

Please note: Applications can take up to 4 weeks to process. Membership does not include access to printers, photocopiers, laptops, PCs or electronic resources, nor does it allow books or rooms to be reserved. Members must wear the lanyard provided whilst on campus and are responsible for loss of, or damage to, books and other University property. Visitors (including under 18s) may not accompany members beyond the ground floor of the Learning Hub. Please be respectful of the staff and students who are teaching and studying on campus.
