The Academic Librarian team are here to help you make the most of the library resources. We offer support with finding, using and referencing information for your academic assignments. You’ll meet us in workshops to offer subject specific support as requested by your tutor. You can also book one-to-one tutorials if you would like help with finding specific information.
You can book a tutorial for one-to-one support in academic skills. Book with an Academic Librarian if you want help with literature searching, finding information or referencing. Book with a Learning Development tutor if you want help with critical thinking, academic or reflective writing, or maths and statistics. There are links to the booking system below. You can see our availability up to two weeks in advance, and there is different availability for face-to-face and online tutorials, so choose the best one for you.
Learning Development also offer academic skills drop-ins, for quick questions. These are available both online and on campus (Monday - Friday, 12:00-13:00).
