If you go to www.northampton.ac.uk and search for AI Guidance then you will be directed to the Learning Technology blog post which covers a summary of the main developments.
This also links to the main AI guidance. This page has links on assessment, a glossary and further help and support. All staff and students should review this information and discuss what is appropriate within their module(s).
There is further information for staff on the Learning and Teaching Enhancement pages.
Staff should talk to their Learning Technologists regarding tools within NILE such as the AI Design Assistant and other AI tools which may help in their work.
Staff and students are recommended to try the AI self-assessment tool which takes around 10 minutes to complete but provides a detailed report on strengths and areas for development.
All staff should try logging into the University Copilot and try some prompts with some of their assignment titles to see what is output. Tutors may wish to consider if the assignments (or the guidance in the assignment brief) need adjusting as a result. Please email ld@northampton.ac.uk if you wish to discuss your assignment brief.
