To edit information about a resource click the ellipsis to open the item menu and select Edit item from the drop-down options.
Use the scroll arrows to view all available options.
Click on the Item actions tab to add public notes and tags.
Public note:
A public note is a way to share additional information, such as which pages students need to read or add links to further information.
Tags:
It is important to add tags to each item to let your students know which resources to prioritise. See the Best Practice Guide.
Tags communicate to the library potential demand for resources, therefore ensuring sufficient copies are available. Texts without tags will be treated as wider reading.
Click the Add Tag button and select either Essential, Recommended or Wider Reading from the drop-down options.
Use the scoll arrows and click on the Links and availability tab. Drag and drop or click Select file to upload PDF files you would like students to view.
Add URL's to any links you would like students to view.
Use the scroll arrows and click on the Item details tab to display the publication information for the item and if required add a private note.
To share a link to an item, click on the Share item icon which appears when hovering over an item.
