NPR4005/6/7/8 Literature Searching support for the Final Project

How to request an Inter-Library Loan

The Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service aims to provide you with resources to support you in your academic studies or research, that are not available in the University of Northampton’s library collection.

If you are unable to find what you need in our print stock or via NELSON, you can apply to our ILL service to source the material for you. These requests must be for academic material that relates to your field of study or research, and must be for private study or research that is not for a commercial purpose. These items will be obtained from other organisations or purchased for library stock.

Items that are held in library stock, but are out on loan, can be reserved by going to the Get It section of the item on NELSON and clicking on Reserve. Book chapters and articles in print stock can be requested using Scan and Deliver. These items should not be requested via ILL.

Requesting an Inter-Library Loan

To request an Inter-Library Loan, go to NELSON and click on the Inter-Library Loan button on the top blue menu bar (third button from the left). You will be prompted to login with your University login.
