Make a Request

Book chapters, journal articles and printed music works

Make sure the item details for your book chapter, article or printed music have been added to your online reading list, which must be associated with a module and published.

  • Book chapters and printed music should include the chapter title or number, chapter author, page numbers, book title, book author or editor and the ISBN.
  • Articles should include the article title, author, volume, issue, page numbers, journal title and ISSN.

To update information, select Edit and go to the Item details tab.

Request a digitised extract via the Request digitisation option, which displays for each item on your reading list. This can be accessed by clicking on the title in list view to expand the details.

Alternatively, if you are in full details view, switch to the Item actions tab.

Note: If the same extract is used on different reading lists, a separate digitisation request should be submitted from each. The links for digitised content cannot be copied from one list to another.

 

Complete the request form with the required information and Send.

The item is updated with a Digitisation in Progress tag.

Once completed, the item is updated with a Digitisation Approved tag. A link to the extract is added directly to the reading list it was requested from. Click view online to access the extract.
