Adding items to your Reading List

The 'My Bookmarks' feature within the reading list enables you to access saved items. 

Access My bookmarks from the navigation menu at the top left side.

Locate My Bookmarks feature from the navigation menu at the top left side. The My Bookmarks feature is second in the list

Items saved in NELSON 'Favourites' will automatically appear in 'My Bookmarks' and vice versa.

Note: Web resources bookmarked in the reading list are excluded from NELSON 'Favourites' and any item deleted will be reflected in both 'My Bookmarks' within the reading list and NELSON. For more information see the My Bookmarks LibGuide.

There are two ways to add an item to your reading list from My Bookmarks.

  1. Whilst working on a reading list, click the Add Items+ button and then the My Bookmarks button to select an item.
  2. From My Bookmarks, use the Suggest this item option which appears when clicking on the ellipsis on the right side.

Note: Don't forget to add any notes and tags to your items and publish your list when complete by clicking on the publish button which appears at the top of the page.
