Requesting Books
Before requesting books for purchasing, search NELSON to check availability.
If the book is not available, add it to your reading list via Amazon or a publisher website using the CiteIt! tool.
Check the information in the pop up window and ensure that list is selected. Use the drop down menu to select the correct module list before clicking Add & Close.
You will be prompted to select an appropriate tag for your item. This will ensure sufficient copies are purchased.
The item will appear in your reading list indicating that it is not in stock.
Once your list is published, it will be sent for review and the Reading List team will ensure that sufficient copies are purchased.
Digitisation requests
The library’s Digitisation Team can create legal digital copies of resource extracts. If you wish to obtain a digitised book chapter, article or printed music for inclusion on your reading list, submit a Digitisation request form.
For further information and the form, see the Digitisation homepage
